"AAKAAR", a promising consortium for Architectural, Structural and Interior Designing Consultancy, as the name suggests, was established by Architect Piyush Tandon in 1992 at Allahabad . Architect Piyush Tandon, being a Graduate in Architecture and Post Graduate in CIvil Engineering had a vision to merge both disciplines one single platform and under one roof. The first formal office was inaugurated at Tagore Town, Allahabad by the then Mayor of Allahabad Mr. Shyama Charan Gupta. The group established its presence in the city from the very beginning working for some elite clients. Some of them being M/s Obeetee Ltd, Gopiganj and Maharshi Patanjali Vidya Mandir Allahabad,Moti Lal Nehru Regional Engineering College, Institution of Engineers etc.

The group then shifted its office in Indira Bhawan, a commercial building at Civil Lines, Allahabad in the year 1994. The consortium looking for more space to expand its work environment, shifted its office at Stanley Road, Road, Allahabad on 7th Aug 1996 . A formal, well decorated office was then inaugurated on 4th August 2000 by the then PWD Minister of UP , Mr. Rakesh Dhar Tripathi in the presence of a number of elite citizens of the city from all walks of life. Media and Press took a strong note of the establishment as Vaastu Shastra and introduction of Computers in the building consultancy sector was heavily recognized at this moment by "AAKAAR". A successful Press Conference was held and press release was made in almost all the newspapers and internet coverage over the subjects specially Vaastu introduction in building design. The Media also took a strong note over the concept floated by the proprietor of "AAKAAR", Architect Piyush Tandon that "AN ARCHITECT BUILDS A HOME AND NOT A HOUSE FOR PEOPLE".

On 08th Nov 2013, AAKAAR got its latest office inaugurated by Hon'ble Justice Arun Tandon in their self owned premises in an area of 1500 sqft at Sachha Vihar, Auckland Road.

Since 1992, the group is growing leaps and bounds working with a large number of prestigious organizations and designing all kinds of buildings described in this profile later.
